The LMEEVED's research activities carried out during the 2015 -2018 program contract consist of two distinct and relevant axes relating respectively to wind energy and the energy recovery of waste. The relevance of these two themes is justified both by the rise in conventional energy prices and their socio-economic spillovers, and by the rapid increase in consumption of these energy resources and its environmental consequences. To these two research programs is added a new program on energy efficiency in buildings. The research activities of this axis are part of the control of energy consumption in Tunisian buildings and also use the use of renewable energies, in particular solar energy as well as wind energy and recovery Of waste in the field of housing.
The main objectives deriving from these three axes of research are an integral part of the objectives of the CRTEn. In addition to being expected to contribute to the development of scientific knowledge in the fields of wind energy, energy recovery and energy efficiency in buildings, LMEEVED would be called upon to carry out original research aimed at developing Technologies that can be integrated into the Tunisian socio-economic environment.
